Lately, we’ve seen all kinds of publicity stunts done by social media “influencers” in order to gain instant fame. Many resort to these tactics as they give them fast traction online.
Recently, another social media personality was called out over a post she shared on her socials. For those who are curious, the influencer in question, Nurhayati Tahir, has always been known for her POV (point-of-view) videos on TikTok. A recent video of her was reuploaded on Twitter, which has since gone viral.

In the video, Nurhayati could be seen driving a Nissan GT-R supercar. Another driver behind her started hitting the horn several times when her car didn’t move when the traffic light turned green. Seemingly pissed off, she got out of her car and began snapping at the driver, “Do you want me to fly to the other side of the road? The light had just turned green for one second, and you’re already honking your car horn? Your car is huge, but you have a small brain. Honk louder, I’m not making my move.”
That said, the Twitter user who posted the video claimed that the whole incident was merely a gimmick. “This is so incompetently staged, man. Just to flex the GTR? This is what happens when infamy becomes currency, I guess,” they argued. Interestingly, many netizens in the comments also echoed the same thought.
