When you have the golden opportunity to get up close and personal with your idol, you’ll do whatever it takes to preserve the memory. However, for Indonesian host Indra Herlambang, his way of savouring his hug with BLACKPINK (블랙핑크) Lisa (리사) is perhaps a little extreme.
The media personality had the opportunity to host the idol’s recent fan meeting event in Jakarta, Indonesia. After expressing his joy at working with the “ROCKSTAR” singer, Lisa hugged Indra to show her gratitude. The 48-year-old was very happy about the kind gesture and even took to social media to boast about the moment. However, in a recent interview, he shared another thing he did to savour the moment for as long as possible.
According to Indra, he planned to not shower or rinse his body after the hug to preserve Lisa’s scent. However, his plan only lasted two days, as he had to clean up for a job. He joked, “I could only last two days. Whether I like it or not, I had to shower because of work.” Interestingly, Indra didn’t say how long he would’ve lasted without showering if it wasn’t for his work commitments.
While it does seem a little extreme, Indra’s plan stemmed from his admiration for the Thai idol. The host said he has been a fan of Lisa’s since her debut days and regards the event as one of the happiest moments in his life and career. Indra also said he had to mentally prepare before hosting the idol’s event. However, he admitted that he almost lost control of his emotions and passed out from Lisa’s hug because he was too happy.
Lisa wasn’t the only one grateful for Indra’s hard work. Many Lilies (Lisa fans) and BLINKs (BLACKPINK fans) also praised the host for doing a great job during the event. Many commended him for keeping the energy up and making the event more enjoyable for Lisa and her fans. Some also said they hope Indra will continue to host Lisa whenever she holds an event in Indonesia.
We’re sure many Lilies and BLINKS can relate to Indra and his reaction to getting a hug from Lisa. We also hope to see Indra work with the BLACKPINK member again soon.
