While Malaysian celebrities Nur Fazura and Fattah Amin have amicably settled their divorce case, netizens are still debating on who’s to blame for the split. Recently, a video of the former couple’s daughter, Fatima, went viral on social media, prompting even more discussion.
The video was shared on TikTok by user @/syuhadaalis and depicts Fazura and Fatima during a live stream. In the video, the actress was heard asking her daughter why she was crying before the broadcast. In response, Fatima voiced frustration towards her father, Fattah, saying, “I don’t want daddy. I don’t love daddy anymore.”. Upon hearing Fatima’s response, Fazura immediately advised her to not have such negative thoughts about her father.

Unfortunately, it’s unknown when the live stream happened or whether it was recent. However, the video has since gone viral, garnering mixed reactions. Many said Fatima’s reaction could suggest discord between her and her father, given they now live separately. On the other hand, some lament that the 5-year-old may have been coerced to say such things, even suggesting that Fazura was using her child to gain sympathy from the public.
However, others said Fatima’s reaction was typical of a sulking child, adding that they’ve faced similar situations with their kids, so netizens shouldn’t read too deeply into the video. Following her divorce from her ex-husband, Fazura received full custody of Fatima. Meanwhile, Fattah was granted structured visitation rights where he can visit his daughter three times a week and overnight stays twice a month.

Fattah did recently share a photo of him with Fatima on his Instagram, so it does seem that the young child is still close to her father – but what are your thoughts on this? Why do you think Fatima said those things about her father?
