Famous local hijab entrepreneur, Haliza Maysuri, went viral this week when she gave her mother a packet of “duit raya” worth RM10,000. She also wrote a caption, “Every year, this old Raya envelope gives Mom RM10,000, even if people insult your child’s appearance. But your child has abundant blessings. Don’t take it to heart, Mom. What mother wouldn’t feel sad when the maid told you that the Bawal Exclusive Raya envelopes went viral this year, and the maid read out all sorts of unmentionable comments during this holy month?”
In the video lasting just over two minutes, she was seen warmly greeting and hugging her mom before presenting her with an envelope, the Bawal Exclusive envelope, packed with cash. She even helped her mom open the envelope, revealing her mom’s priceless surprise at the generous amount inside.
In the video, she also advised her followers that they must not be stingy with their mother. “The picture on the envelope is not important, what’s important is what’s inside. When we give money to our mom, don’t just give only one piece,” she said in the video.
The 43-year-old entrepreneur also went viral in February recently, as she managed to get the iconic ‘Swarovski Tiara’ for her daughter-in-law. According to the Swarovski representative, “The Swarovski Tiara is a special edition and it is not for sale.”. “We are proud to be a part of you and your future daughter-in-law’s happy day,” said one of the representatives of the Swarovski brand.
