Following the success of his previous movies, like “Abang Long Fadil 3” and “Polis Evo 3”, Syafiq Yusof is returning with another smash! We were treated to a special preview of the upcoming action-thriller, “Syerif”, starring Zul Ariffin, Syafiq Kyle, Azira Shafinaz and Aaron Aziz.
Thanks to our good friends at Astro Shaw, we were escorted to the filming location of the upcoming movie at Bandar Malaysia, Jalan Lapangan Terbang Lama, Pengkalan Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia. We don’t want to spoil it for you, but we assure you, we definitely can’t wait for “Syerif” to hit the cinemas!

Celebrating Warner Bros’ 100th Anniversary
If you’re looking for action and adventure, look no further and head on over to Pavilion Bukit Jalil, as the mall is currently partnering with Warner Bros to celebrate the latter’s 100th anniversary. Located in the Centre Court at Level 2, visitors will get to experience the world of Harry Potter (don’t miss the magical Harry Potter 9 3/4 platform), whip up a delicious meal amidst the lively Tom & Jerry kitchen scene, and experience the inflatable playgrounds there.
There’s also ‘The Flash’ movie activation, where you’ll notice giant figurines of the red speedster and Batman himself. There’s also the groovy Scooby-Doo Mystery Machine to snap memorable moments at! Indulging In Turkish Cuisine Week @ The Turkish Embassy
In conjunction with Turkish Cuisine Week, we got to experience another part of the world by attending an exclusive dinner by the Embassy of the Republic Of Turkiye, recently. Not only did we get to witness how some of the dishes were prepared, we obviously got to try many amazing treats that were simply mouth-watering!
This year’s Turkish Cuisine Week features a unique menu dedicated to the delicious flavours of Hatay cuisine, which is also part of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the field of gastronomy. What can we say, it was simply outstanding!

Raya-ing @ iQIYI’s Open House
Raya wouldn’t be complete without celebrating with one of the most popular streaming services out there. We were invited to enjoy the Raya celebrations with iQIYI at their Jom Raya Sekitar Open House event, recently. The company got us hooked with previews of their latest and upcoming content that will be available on their platform.
The evening was filled with good company, amazing food, star-studded performances, and fun games! We’re definitely looking forward to the next event by iQiyi!

Saying ‘Bienvenue’ @ Le French Festival 2023’s Opening Ceremony
Le French Festival launched their month-long cultural celebration on 25th May at GSC Mid Valley Megamall with a sneak peek of what is to come! Guests were able to taste and enjoy some of their selected cuisine and drinks while getting a makeover from beauty company L’Oreal. We were also treated to an adaptation of “The Three Musketeers” by Alexandre Dumas, during its first premiere in Asia.
As His Excellency Mr Axel Cruau, Ambassador of France to Malaysia, was delighted to reveal during the press conference: “The 2023 edition will do even more to highlight the best of French culture and share it with our friends all over Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, and to a new location: Kuching!” Needless to say, it left us all quite excited for what was to come.
