Back in April, rumours swirled about Chinese singer and former EXO (엑소) member Huang Zitao (黄子韬) also professionally known as Z.TAO, planning to marry Xu Yiyang (徐艺洋), a singer under his company L.TAO Entertainment. Although Zitao initially denied the allegations, he later confirmed that he and Yiyang were indeed in a romantic relationship, much to the delight of their fans, who have since showered the couple with love and support.
On 26th August, the couple’s relationship reached a new milestone during an episode of the variety show “Dare Or Not,” which quickly went viral. In a heartwarming moment that captured viewers’ hearts, Zitao went down on one knee and slipped a ring onto Yiyang’s finger, sealing their love in a truly unforgettable way.
In the clip, the couple stands before each other, surrounded by a breathtaking sea of pink flowers that create a romantic backdrop. Before proposing, the 31-year-old singer, with a heartfelt expression, said, “From the moment we first met until now, from the very start of our journey, it was already written in the stars. You are the one who will be with me until the end.” Then, Zitao revealed a bouquet of pink flowers and went down on one knee, declaring, “So, this is my final challenge on the show. I dare to marry you—do you dare to accept?”
Overwhelmed with emotion, the couple couldn’t hold back their joyful tears. Yiyang, equally moved, responded with a smile, “I dare to,” and accepted his proposal. The proposal culminated in a sweet kiss, sealing their love story as the people around them who witnessed the beautiful moment rejoiced in their happiness.
