Coachella is back to grace our timeline with a series of outfits and snippets! This year’s Coachella brought together an eclectic lineup, with 88rising taking center stage as they flaunted their captivating lineup of Asian artists including ATARASHII GAKKO (新しい学校), Number_i (ナンバーアイ) , Drunken Tiger JK (드렁큰 타이거 JK), Xin Liu (刘雨昕) and Awich (エイウィッチ). Among the standout performers was the dynamic South Korean rapper and singer, BIBI (비비), whose commanding presence and infectious energy had the audiences hooked throughout her set.
In a surprising turn of events at Coachella, the famous GOT7’s rapper, Jackson Wang (王嘉爾) made a special appearance during BIBI’s performance set which left audiences buzzing. However, it wasn’t just their musical collaboration that caught the attention of fans. The duo’s onstage chemistry, marked by sweet gestures and physical closeness ignited a storm of reactions from fans and audience globally.
The highlight of the performance was the debut of their soon-to-be-released song titled, “Feeling Lucky”. The performance showcased their musical synergy and the audience were mesmerised by their genuine chemistry. A now-viral video shared on Twitter showed Jackson Wang entering the stage with BIBI immediately wrapping an arm around the idol’s neck, erupting loud cheers from the crowd.
Following that video, a closeup clip of the two artists making eye contact while taking turns to cup one another’s face immediately began circulating the internet. BIBI’s fans went wild, with a good amount of them wished they were in Jackson’s shoes. However, some turned on their overprotective mode over the singer. Meanwhile, a majority of Jackson Wang’s fans went insane at his hand placement on BIBI’s face and neck. One netizen even commented, “Jackson Wang is stronger than me. I would’ve kissed her.”
Such displays of intimacy between them also fueled speculation about their relationship but netizens on Twitter know better. It is common knowledge that performance was staged as there was another video shared by Jackson Wang’s fanbase which showed the two practising in a studio while still maintaining the affection they exude on Coachella’s stage.
