If there’s one thing K-pop fans love more than their idols’ music, it’s the skinship between the artists (showing affection through physical touch). A few months back, fans were freaking out when soloists Jeon Somi (전소미) and HyunA (김현아) locked lips during the former’s album launch party.
It looks like 2 idols have probably seen that post and decided to try for themselves. Fans were left speechless after (G)I-DLE‘s MIYEON (미연) posted a video of her being a little too intimate with TWICE member Sana (사나/湊﨑 紗夏). Here’s the scoop:

Yesterday (Monday, 6th November), (G)I-DLE‘s MIYEON posted a carousel post on her Instagram that showed her hanging out with fellow idol Sana from TWICE. “I love you, I love you 🎀⛓️,” the singer wrote in the captions. The first two photos showed the idols happily posing for a selfie together with a filter on but the third slide was the one that got fans excited.
In the third slide, the K-pop artists were seen almost kissing as Sana’s lips were too close to MIYEON’s. As for the rest of the slides, the two friends carried on experimenting with different filters and having a good time during their night out together. Fans, especially those on Twitter, reacted to the post with many of them being overwhelmed by their idols’ adorable behaviour.
A few even brought up Jeon Somi and HyunA’s kiss, speculating that the TWICE and (G)I-DLE members took inspiration from the post. Some said that they weren’t surprised by the near-kiss at all since Sana and MIYEON have always been very close friends and would also show how much they love each other every time they hang out.

It’s also not surprising that there were fans who were jealous that the two idols could meet up and casually kiss each other whenever they wanted to. Unlike Jeon Somi and HyunA’s post, no one has accused MIYEON and Sana of queerbaiting fans with their post (thankfully). Whether this was for fun or fanservice, it’s evident that both MIYEON and Sana are very comfortable with each other.
