Everyone would pay good money to have their favourite singers perform at their wedding. Some couples in Korea have been lucky enough to have had K-pop idols singing a few of their hits during their wedding ceremonies.
SEVENTEEN (세븐틴) and their sub-unit BSS (BooSeokSoon)(부석순) have some experience performing at weddings. The latter recently performed at their manager and stylist’s wedding ceremony, which was also attended by all SEVENTEEN members, TWS (투어스), fromis_9 (프로미스나인), soloists Bumzu (범주) and Baekho (백호), to name a few. However, one moment of their wedding performance got fans laughing out loud.
Earlier today (Wednesday, 15th May), videos of BSS performing at the aforementioned couple’s wedding ceremony circulated on Twitter. Unlike other singers who would normally perform their strongest ballads at these events, the members, DK (도겸), Hoshi (호시), and Seungkwan (승관), can be heard singing the silly version of their song “The Reasons of My Smiles” as well as the upbeat track, “Just Do It”.
At one point during their gig, guests managed to capture the moment the boys surrounded the couple’s respective parents at their seats while flapping their arms up and down like seagulls. Everyone at the venue, including the bride and groom, laughed their hearts out at the group’s shenanigans. It’s evident that the SEVENTEEN sub-unit brought the house down and everyone had a delightful time at the celebration.
The goofy moment instantly went viral on Twitter with fans mostly being amused by their idols. Many were not surprised as the BSS had done something similar at a previous wedding they performed at. Others pointed out that the arm flapping is actually part of the “Just Do It” choreography. Some pointed out that the venue was the same one where SEVENTEEN filmed their “April Shower” music video.
We don’t know about you guys but we definitely would want BSS to perform at our weddings if given the opportunity. Watch the viral clip below:
