Actress Mimi Lana is among the stars who happily give fans a glimpse into married life with actor Syafiq Kyle ever since they tied the knot back in February. While many celebrate their relationship, others have suggested the pair should tone it down.
Earlier this week, Mimi Lana uploaded a day-in-the-life video on TikTok. The clip showed the model getting ready, working out at the gym and having a meal before returning home to spend time with her husband.
In the post, the couple can be seen hugging, with Syafiq planting a long kiss on his wife’s cheek before the video cuts to Mimi preparing for her flight to London. Fans were quick to react to the video, with many gushing over how adorable the couple are and jokingly admitting their “jealousy” of Mimi for marrying the “perfect man”. However, some felt that the pair’s public displays of affection were a little excessive, advising the actress to keep her relationship more private.
Fortunately for the 29-year-old, fans came to her defence. Many said they, too, would show off if they were married to Syafiq Kyle, while others pointed out that Mimi is free to share her relationship online as she wishes, insisting it is no one else’s business. Several also offered words of comfort, encouraging her to ignore negative comments, as those people are simply bitter about not having a marriage as happy as hers.
Mimi Lana doesn’t appear to be paying much attention to the online chatter, and perhaps that’s for the best. As for why she’s currently in London, her Instagram posts and stories suggest she is there on business with fashion brand Longchamp, promoting its latest English Journey collection.
