Over the recent Valentine’s Day weekend, many couples took the opportunity to deepen their bonds with their loved ones – including several celebrities. A day after Malaysian celeb couple Mimi Lana and Syafiq Kyle said their “I Dos”, local actress Siti Saleha also tied the knot!
Mimi Lana and Syafiq Kyle married on 14th February 2025 (Friday) at an intimate ceremony at the actress’ family home in Taiping, Perak. The couple first sparked rumours of the wedding on the morning of the event, sharing a photo of their rings. After confirming the news through their official social media accounts, Mimi and Syafiq shared images of the modest yet beautiful event.
Mimi and Syafiq started dating in 2015 and got engaged in early 2023. They were previously set to marry in August 2023 but called off the wedding. Following their marriage announcement, many fans and celebrities have taken to social media to congratulate the happy couple. In an interview with a local news outlet, Mimi expressed excitement about her new marital status. She also said she’s looking forward to spending Ramadan with Syafiq as husband and wife.
Fellow actress Siti Saleha also recently tied the knot, holding her solemnisation ceremony on 15th February 2025 (Saturday). The 34-year-old said “I Do” to fashion designer Joshua Fitton at a closed ceremony. The event in Janda Baik, Pahang, was attended by close family and friends. The couple will hold their second reception, for the groom’s side, next week at Joshua’s hometown of Melaka.
Siti Saleha and Joshua went public with their relationship in 2022 and announced their engagement in November 2024. The actress was previously married to civil servant Ahmad Lutfi Azhar in 2017, but the two divorced in 2021. Many of the couple’s celebrity friends have extended their congratulations on the pair’s marriage, including Nur Fazura, Tiara Jacquelina and Hunny Madu, who attended the ceremony.
