After much speculation, fans were recently delighted with the confirmation that ex-DOLLA member Syasya is expecting. However, some netizens believe she’s not the only one, alleging that actress Atikah Suhaime may also have a bun in the oven.
Syasya, whose real name is Norsyasya Afiqah Shahrizal, recently confirmed she’s pregnant with her first child. She shared the joyous news with fans via a pregnancy photoshoot on her social media. The photos also hinted that the baby’s nickname is Baby Emon, which fans quickly realised is a nod to her favourite character, Doraemon.
The former DOLLA member tied the knot earlier this year with husband Nasrullah Mohd Sapie. Following her marriage, there have been rumours that Syasya was pregnant, especially after netizens noticed her baby bump. However, the 23-year-old never confirmed the news until her announcement. Many friends and fans have since congratulated Syasya on her pregnancy, including former groupmates Tabby and Angel.
However, Syasya might not be the only Malay celebrity expecting her first child – because fans of Atikah Suhaime believe that the Singaporean-born actress may also be pregnant. Many came to this conclusion after watching the actress’ recent TikTok video, where she mentioned experiencing nausea in recent days. Atikah also revealed that she suddenly developed an aversion towards certain foods, particularly onion and garlic.
As nausea and food aversion are common symptoms in pregnancy, many believe that Atikah may be experiencing these things because she’s expecting. However, the 33-year-old never addressed the pregnancy rumours. Nevertheless, fans are already congratulating the public figure and her husband. The actress wedded local businessman Datuk Lokman Teh in January.
