A Malaysian celebrity doctor recently came forward with her story of being abused by her boyfriend. He is apparently a professional football player. Here’s what happened:
Medical doctor and influencer Dr. Hana Rose made a shocking revelation on her Instagram earlier today (Thursday, 8th June), regarding her relationship with her boyfriend, football player Rizal Ghazali. The video she posted showed the bruises on her body which she claimed were caused by her beau. “Assaulted by the man I love. We even promised to grow old together but sadly, it wasn’t meant to be,” she captioned.
The medical practitioner added that she’s now traumatised by the alleged incident. According to the caption, the abuse allegedly took place yesterday (Wednesday, 7th June) at the Le Meridien Hotel in Petaling Jaya. Replying to friends’ and fans’ IG stories, the public figure revealed that she was unreachable the night of the incident because her boyfriend broke and threw her phone into the toilet.
The doctor detailed the recent altercation in a police report she shared in an IG story. She claimed that Rizal hit her on the head, choked her, and bit both her hands before throwing her to the ground where she sustained more injuries. The influencer called the authorities after the accused left her alone in the hotel room.
Apart from the alleged abuse, the doctor also accused representatives of the Official Sabah Football Club of not checking up on her that evening. A source told Harian Metro that the accused football player has apparently been aggressive towards his girlfriend for some time. The victim only decided to come forward with the issue after being pushed to the edge.
At the time of writing, there has been no update from either Dr. Hana or Rizal Ghazali regarding the incident. The Official Sabah Football Club has also yet to release a statement on the accusations. Guess we’ll have to wait and see how this story unfolds.
