There’s never a dull moment when it comes to dealing with monkeys as these critters are just full of surprises. You never know what they might do to you or others around you. They could be minding their own business or some might try and expose your private parts in public.
If you’re an animal lover then you’d certainly enjoy being around these primates despite how chaotic a situation can get. Monkeys are also known to be sneaky little thieves; stealing and snatching anything they find interesting but who knew that this particular one was capable of kidnapping a kitten?

TikTok user @izude__ posted a video on his channel where we can see him trying to lure a monkey resting on a utility pole with a banana. Most people probably wouldn’t offer a wild animal a treat for fear that it might get physical. But this situation was an emergency as it was later shown that the monkey was actually carrying a kitten in its hands.
“The monkey kidnapped a kitten😭,” the user captioned. As seen in the video above, we can see that the poor feline kept looking down from the high pole, possibly scared and confused. The Indonesian man posted a follow-up video showing the people’s attempt in rescuing the kitten by throwing a banana up in the air in hopes that it would attract the simian.
The second video showed that the monkey was still carrying its ‘adopted’ child in its hands while walking along the power lines. The videos went viral and caught netizens’ attention with many fearing for the well-being of the kitten. Some asked for an update while others find the whole incident humorous.
Thankfully, the TikToker posted an update the next day to inform everyone that the kitten had been saved. “I got the kitten back at the house guys 😭😭 it’s safe,” he said. It is unclear if the kitten was a stray or if it belonged to @izude__ but either way, we’re glad that it’s back safe on the ground.
