Monkeys can either be really adorable or very aggressive. We’ve seen tons of videos of monkeys doing some wholesome things like playing with their friends, discovering new objects, or simply snacking on fruits. There are also videos where we’ve seen them stealing things or breaking into people’s houses.
Nevertheless, it’s not entirely the monkeys’ fault for their behaviour. It’s simply their nature. However friendly these primates may appear, it’s always wise to be careful. You’ll never know if their curiosity will end up exposing your private parts in public. Miss Peru certainly learned her lesson after this incident:
@paulamanzz Yo solo queria que no me toque mis.. 🥲🙈 #indonesia #bali #monkey #peruana
Former Miss Peru, Paula Manzanal posted a video on her TikTok of her ‘hands-on’ experience with a monkey a few months back but the video only went viral just recently. In the viral post, which has now gained over 300k views, we can see the model admiring the innocent-looking mammal at the Ubud Monkey Forest during her holiday in Bali, Indonesia.
“I just didn’t want it to touch me,” she captioned the video. We can see the long-tailed macaque got a little grabby as it was trying to pull the 29-year-old’s top down, almost exposing her breasts. She held on to her top to avoid being exposed but her sudden reaction apparently angered the primate, causing it to slap her face and hiss at her. The video was then abruptly cut off.
Many of her fans expressed their concerns after the incident but most (men) just find the whole thing amusing, commenting that the monkey definitely knew what it was doing when it tried to pull the former Miss Peru’s top down.

Rest assured that Paula Manzanal sustained no injuries from the monkey’s slap nor did she experience any wardrobe malfunctions. It just goes to show that one still has to be careful with these little critters. We would advise dressing appropriately before visiting any monkey sanctuaries to avoid anything like this from happening to you.
