Road accidents are one of the most terrifying and traumatising things one can experience. Earlier this month, many witnessed a horrific accident on the Second Penang Bridge involving a lorry and a car, which caused major traffic congestion.

However, sometimes things aren’t always as they seemed. A video on TikTok has gone viral showing what appears to be an accident that occurred at Bukit Bintang but netizens speculated that it could’ve been something else.

Earlier this week, TikTok user @rayzkiee posted a video on their channel of what appears to be a horrific accident on the road at Bukit Bintang in front of the McDonald’s outlet. The terrifying scene showed flipped-over cars, scattered vehicle parts, and concrete debris on the road. The user offered no explanation other than the caption, “What happened at McD and WOLO, Bukit Bintang”.

The viral post which has now reached over 5 million views, drew a lot of concerns from netizens who have been asking for answers about the alleged accident as there were no official reports from local news outlets nor has anyone within the vicinity updated about the event on their socials recently.

This has led many to speculate that the “accident” may not have been recent nor real as it could’ve been a set for a scene in an action movie. Some even pointed out that there were smoke trays placed on the ground nearby the damaged vehicles to create the illusion of a recent accident.

Many movie-goers speculate that this “accident” was for the new “Polis Evo 3” movie, which will debut tomorrow (Thursday, 25th May), or the upcoming “War On Terror: KL Anarchy” movie later this October.

Guess we’ll have to wait and see if this really was an accident (that was covered up well) or a set used in an action movie. What are your guesses?
