It’s official – Malaysian celebrity couple Diana Danielle and Farid Kamil have divorced for the second time. The decision was made earlier today (24th March 2025, Monday) at the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur Syariah Court.
According to reports, Farid, whose full name is Farid Kamil Zahari, pronounced the divorce in a single talak against Diana – marking their second divorce in their 12-year marriage. The couple tied the knot in 2012 and divorced in 2023 after 11 years. However, less than a month after the two separated, they reconciled before Diana sought divorce for a second time in November 2024.
After the proceeding ended, the two stars walked out of the courtroom side by side, looking calm. The now-exes also happily shared a final handshake before the many reporters. Speaking about the divorce, Farid expressed gratitude towards Diana, saying, “During this blessed month of Ramadan, everything has been resolved. Thank you to Diana for understanding the situation.”
In the meantime, Diana also spoke about the future of the pair’s two children, Muhammad and Nur Aurora. The 33-year-old, whose full name is Diana Danielle Danny Beeson, said she will have custody of their children. However, both parents will still be responsible for raising the kids. She also said she won’t stop Farid from meeting or contacting their children, even allowing him to bring them back to his hometown for the upcoming Raya celebration.
In addition, Diana said she and Farid have settled their differences and are now working on building a good relationship. The actress said their focus moving forward is on raising their children. Meanwhile, Farid said the former couple are now merely “artist friends”. Some reports also said the pair seemed friendlier with each other during their final divorce proceeding, as compared to the previous meetings.
While it’s sad that Diana and Farid couldn’t make their marriage work, we’re glad they can remain good friends and co-parents. We wish the two all the best in their respective future.
