Yesterday, Dato Seri Vida posted a video on her TikTok channel that showed her children transferring money to each other’s accounts. The businesswoman asked her kids to show her the exact amount of their recent spending. Cik B, real name Nur Edlynn Zamileen, was the first to share her financial status by showing her phone screen to the camera.
As seen in the video, the influencer spent a total of RM23.4k in the month of November! Her brother Kacak, however, only showed a screenshot of how much money he had left in his bank account which was about RM12.34. “This is how much money Dato Seri Vida’s son has right now,” he said before showing his phone screen to his mother.
When the “I Am Me” singer asked her kids to show her their latest bank balance, Cik B revealed that she spent over RM1 million in the month of July earlier this year, much to her mother’s surprise. Kacak, on the other hand, still refused to show his expenses claiming that he prefers to save money rather than spend it.
Normally, netizens would criticise celebs or influencers for showing off their wealth but they were rather playful this time around with many expressing the desire of wanting to be friends with DS Vida’s children. Some jokingly claimed to be childhood friends in hopes that they would get a taste of that luxurious lifestyle.
It certainly must be nice to be able to spend thousands or millions of ringgit without worrying too much about savings. Would you spend just as much if you were as wealthy?
