BTS (방탄소년단) member RM delighted ARMYs after he made an appearance in a live broadcast on the Weverse platform. However, many fans couldn’t help but to notice an obvious mark on the idol’s neck.
RM was suited up in a black and white puffer jacket zipped all the way to his neck. However, as the broadcast went on, fans spotted a dark mark on the neck (which many claimed to be a hickey) when the idol was resting his chin on one hand while reading through the comments.

As seen in several viral clips on Twitter, it appears that RM noticed that his mark was visible on the screen. He then tried to cover it by nonchalantly keeping his hand in front of it. The rapper claimed that it was a bruise from his CrossFit workout, though a lot of fans weren’t buying his excuse!
As a result, social media has since been flooded with videos and pictures of RM (real name Kim Nam Joon, 김남준) with the “blemish” on his nick. Not to mention, the term “Hickey” also became a trending topic on Twitter. Fans have also rallied to share their reactions. There were also some fans who came to the popular idol’s defence for having a hickey. To quote a commenter, “Let him be, please! He’s an adult already. Some fans should wake up and realized that he, too, has his own life to mind other than being a singer. If it really is a hickey, what’s the big deal? Is he not allowed to have one?”
