Apple recently announced the latest addition to its iPhone lineup, the iPhone 17 series. However, for K-pop fans, the phone wasn’t the one that caught their attention. Instead, it was ATEEZ (에이티즈) member Yunho (윤호), who made an unexpected appearance at the Apple launch event.
On 9th September 2025 (Tuesday), Apple held their highly anticipated keynote to introduce its latest product parade, including the new iPhone 17 series and the AirPods Pro 3. The event, held at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California, was attended by tech content creators and enthusiasts from around the world. However, also making an appearance at the event was ATEEZ member Yunho.
During the event, the idol got to check out the new iPhone lineup and AirPods before the release date. He also met with Apple CEO Tim Cook and chatted with the business executive. In the photos he shared on his Instagram account, Yunho also revealed that he met Japanese graphic artist Verdy, Istanbul-based entrepreneur Bünyamin Aydin and German social media personality Lena Mantler. He also met renowned DJ, Zedd.
In a live stream after the event, Yunho revealed that he was personally invited to the event by Apple. During his visit to the headquarters, the 26-year-old said they screened his movie, “Back!Stage”. The film, released in August, was shot entirely with an iPhone 16 Pro. The idol played the movie’s lead character, Gi Seok. He also released a theme song for the movie available exclusively on Apple Music.
ATINYs (ATEEZ fans) have reacted to Yunho’s appearance at the Apple Keynote event, expressing joy over this rare opportunity for the idol. Some also said they look forward to a partnership between ATEEZ and Apple. Others noted that Apple screening his movie may bring more acting gigs for the star. Before attending the Apple Keynote, Yunho appeared at a “Today at Apple” session at the Apple Store in Myeongdong, Seoul, to talk about his movie.
