You would think that entrepreneur View Chin and his girlfriend Mira Aqilah have learned not to use their controversial relationship for content, especially after receiving heavy backlash a few months ago. This time, it seems that they don’t mind the negative attention since their latest video together got everyone raising their eyebrows.
Yesterday (Monday, 13th May), View Chin posted an Instagram Reel of him and Mira “sleeping” in bed together, strangely sharing one pillow. In the video, it showed the businesswoman “dreaming” that her man was cheating on her; smiling and laughing with an unidentified woman.
Triggered by the “dream”, the rest of the video showed the influencer visibly upset with her “husband”, giving him the cold shoulder throughout the day. When the View Fashion founder asked his lover what was bothering her, she answered that she was angry that he cheated on her in her dream the night before.
The skit was obviously scripted for laughs but unfortunately, not many were laughing in the comments. Netizens bombarded the couple with questions asking if they were married to even produce content of them sleeping in a bed together. Others advised them to publicly announce their marital status to avoid unwanted attention and slander.
Some called them shameful for relying on cheap publicity to promote their business. Those who were laughing were mostly because they found it ironic that these two partners would film a video about infidelity since they themselves were accused of having an affair with each other behind View Chin’s ex-wife Shermine’s back when they were still married.
Just like the previous viral video, neither View Chin nor Mira has addressed the backlash. The couple also did not confirm nor deny their marital status. Watch the controversial video below:
