It seems that even the child of a celebrity couple can’t help but fangirl when she meets her idol. Local actor-turned-director Hairul Azreen recently shared how his daughter Alisa Aisyah reacted to meeting her favourite national shuttler, Lee Zii Jia (李梓嘉).
In the video shared on Instagram, the young daughter of the director and his wife, actress Hanis Zalikha, tearfully expressed her want to meet the athlete. It appears that Lee Zii Jia had paid the celebrity couple a visit at their home earlier that day when Alisa was at school, so she missed the chance to meet him. The young fan was so distraught over the missed opportunity that she even started crying to her father. Thankfully, Lee Zii Jia returned to Hairul and Hanis’ home to fulfil his young fan’s wish.
Upon seeing Lee Zii Jia in person, Alisa got a little shy but quickly warmed up and reached her hand out to the athlete to greet him. Her mother, Hanis, also looked shocked over the 26-year-old’s surprise visit. Alisa and Lee Zii Jia then spent some time together, and Alisa even had the chance to demonstrate her badminton skills to the athlete. The two then posed for a photo, in which Alisa smiled happily alongside her idol. However, in another photo that Lee Zii Jia posted, Alisa could be seen making a funny face, drawing some laughs from the public.
The wholesome meeting between Alisa and Lee Zii Jia received tons of attention from netizens. Many cooed at the two’s adorable interactions, saying Alisa was a lucky fan. Some also expressed jealousy, saying they couldn’t meet Lee Zii Jia even if they tried. However, others joked about Alisa using her “connections” to see the athlete, even getting the “express treatment”.
