This year’s Fashion Week started back in February in Copenhagen where top designers showcase their upcoming collections and there’s no better way to close the month than the Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2022 where we saw many beautiful, unique and surprising pieces.
Speaking of surprises, our very own Malaysian model, Vanizha Vasanthanathan was actually one of the models who walked the runway looking amazing during Milan Fashion Week!
From the video above, you can see Vanizha strut down Milan Fashion Week in ‘Look 34‘, dressed in an ACT N°1 dress with a long slit and knee-high black boots. The brand that Vanizha modelled for in the video is diverse ranging from flowy shirts and long-trained dresses splashed with flowers and landscape prints which is a nod to designer’s Luca Lin’s Chinese roots.
Vanizha was also seen in a very colourful piece from Marco Rambaldi. The brand offers a total look, with a focus on knitwear and outerwear, including dresses, tops, shirts, skirts, trousers and t-shirts. The designer also added leather accessories, such as bags and shoes, in recent seasons.
The 29-year-old model has also been featured in many other international fashion events such as; Lakme Fashion Week, China Fashion Week, Beijing Fashion Week, Jakarta Fashion Week, and of course the most recent Milan Fashion Week. Truly making her country proud!
Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Vanizha is a professional model and is also a Sutra dancer trained and known for the classical Indian dance of Odissi. Other than that, Vanizha was actually the first Malaysian-Indian to be in a Sephora campaign.
