Relationships can be tricky, especially if you aren’t very trusting of your partner. Well, it seems this boyfriend from UTAR desperately wanted advice about his girlfriend after she allegedly cheated on him – emotionally.
According to the guy, his first red flag had been when his girlfriend did not answer his calls or messages overnight. When he finally did get her attention, it was allegedly a shock to discover she had spent the night with another guy! Needless to say, it didn’t take him long to ask netizens for advice about the issue.
The UTAR student had taken to his university’s confession page, hoping his fellow students would be of some help. “I don’t have much experience with relationships,” the boyfriend explained. “This is my second girlfriend. (My first was during Form 1, a puppy love).” The guy claimed that his girlfriend had recently went over to a male student’s house and stayed the night. Unfortunately, he hadn’t been able to contact her till the next afternoon.
“I asked my girlfriend what happened that night! She said her male friend invited her to his house to see (his) cat, had some drinks, played games, and then she rested and slept there when she was tired,” he stated. However, he suspected they had done other stuff while there. “The problem is, my girlfriend didn’t call me (during her time there) and (her phone) was turned off!” The girl claimed they had slept on the bed, shoulder to shoulder, until dawn when she left for home.
However, he had still been unhappy. When he confronted her, she claimed she found it easier to talk to boys than girls. The boyfriend then told her: “I went out to work for you. Who will pay and buy your things? You?” He also sternly told her to answer her phone. When she didn’t, he threated her, saying: “You will pay for your Axia car next month!” That got an immediate response from the girl. “(Baby), don’t be mad, I didn’t hear (my phone) just now. Love you,” she said, adding kisses.
Netizens were quick to inform the boyfriend to give up on his girl. “Congratulations,” one cheekily said. “Your girlfriend is going to have a new boyfriend.” A few even told him, “You deserve better” and reassured: “The next one will be better“. Others simply found the situation hilarious.
Well, clearly the two have several issues they need to work out if they want the relationship to succeed. However, we’ll have to leave it to them and hope for the best!
