Another week, another whirlwind of totally EXTRA events! We were here, there and everywhere!
We tried UNIQLO’s LifeWear Exhibition on for size, reveled in cinematic heaven at HavenXR’s launch, gasped for air in The Conjuring Universe, received presents (yes!) at Watsons Club’s birthday and MUCH, MUCH MORE! PUMA’s Car Club
Attending PUMA’s first-ever Car Club event in Southeast Asia, hosted at the iconic Sentul Depot in Kuala Lumpur, was an unforgettable experience. This adrenaline-packed extravaganza seamlessly merged the worlds of motorsport, style, entertainment, and gastronomy, creating a spectacular showcase of passion and excitement. From the moment we arrived, we were transported into the heart of racing and high-speed thrills, surrounded by the pulsating energy of motorsport enthusiasts.
The event was meticulously curated with a wide range of on-site activities and electrifying performances that gave us a tantalising glimpse into the thrilling universe of PUMA’s motorsport culture.
However, the undeniable highlight of the event was the energetic participation of the legendary Choo Sung-hoon, better known as Sexyama. His presence added an extra layer of excitement and charisma to an already incredible gathering, leaving us with cherished memories of a day filled with speed, style, and entertainment!

The Conjuring Universe Tour
If you love horror and “The Conjuring” movie franchise, then you’re going to love this new attraction at The Curve, Mutiara Damansara! We got to step into the world of famous paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren and experience the paranormal hauntings for ourselves! Inspired by actual case files from the demonologist couple, fans get to enjoy iconic moments from “The Conjuring” movies (including “Anabelle” and “The Nun”)!
The new attraction was also launched in celebration of the new “The Nun” sequel, which will be released in cinemas later this month! The Conjuring Universe tour is open every day and tickets can be purchased at the venue itself or online. So what are you waiting for? Grab your friends and experience the fright of your life!

Japanese Film Festival 2023
Calling all movie fans! We recently attended the press conference for the 19th Japanese Film Festival and were treated to previews of many fantastic movies coming your way! From 7th September to 15th October, spanning across the Klang Valley, Penang, Johor Bahru, Kuching, and Kota Kinabalu, fans will be treated to many Japanese films, starting with “Small, Slow But Steady” during the opening ceremony on 5th September!
If you’re having trouble deciding which movies to watch, our personal recommendation would be “#MANHOLE” starring Yuto Nakajima. If you love thriller and suspense flicks, then this is the movie for you. While it may look like a movie about survival, there are some twists and turns that will leave you speechless! UNIQLO LifeWear Exhibition
The seasons are changing (in the northern hemisphere, anyway) and as always, so is the fashion world. Enter UNIQLO, which has the perfect tool to help you with the transition! We recently attended UNIQLO Malaysia’s LifeWear Exhibition at UNIQLO 1Utama, where their showcase spoke volumes about modern layering and how to pull it off.

Head & Shoulders X Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
Who says you can’t have fun in the shower? Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and anti-dandruff shampoo Head & Shoulders have joined forces with heroes Tigreal and Eudora to help keep your “hair-nemies wiped out”!
We got to explore their Legendary Roadshow Experiences at MyDin USJ Subang Jaya and witnessed Mobile Legends: Bang Bang e-sports team TODAK’s members, Danial Fuad (aka CikuGais), Alif Akmal (Rival) and Idreen Jamal (Momo) take on several KOLs and even a fan-team. Needless to say, the epic battle was quite a blast!

Pavilion KL Loves Sustainability
In conjunction with the recent Merdeka 2023 celebration, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur launched the Pavilion Loves Sustainability Marketplace at Fashion Avenue, Level 2 – and we had an exclusive look. It’s an immersive market experience featuring various sustainable activities and booths by Pavilion REIT Malls, tenants and partners. Shoppers can also mark their pledges and publicly affirm their commitment to environmental stewardship. You’ll also notice an impressive art installation at the mall’s entrance where 2,000 recycled Spritzer bottles were used to craft the Malaysian flag.

Intermark Mall’s ‘Sehati Sejiwa’
In the spirit of Merdeka, Intermark Mall recently launched the “Sehati Sejiwa” campaign, in collaboration with Jeiwa, to display 66 exquisitely hand-painted tiffins on a wooden art piece. While you enjoy the beautiful tiffins, don’t forget to check out local artisans’ pop up booths and shop for various handmade crafts that’ll definitely blow you away.
The exceptional works of award-winning deaf and mute artist Nur Amiratul Farahin bt Ab. Rahman will also be showcased in her first mini exhibition until 17 September 2023. The Intermark Mall “Sehati Sejiwa” Merdeka Campaign 2023 will run from now till 17th September 2023 at Ground Atrium, Ground Floor.
