TVB’s annual “万千星辉贺台庆2023” event always gives its stars a chance to strut their stuff. But, this year, former Miss Hong Kong 2020 participant Roxanne Ho Pui Ga (何沛珈) might have just managed to steal the entire show!
As with any celebrity event, stars from all walks of life showed up dressed to the nines. But, despite their best efforts, there’s always one or two who stand out among the others, and this year, it’s Roxanne Ho, thanks to her startling “see-through” dress!
When Roxanne showed up on the red carpet on 19th November, many were left jaw dropped at the bold piece she was wearing. Although it resembled a simple black dress from the front, her see-through sides showed off her glutes and long legs, thanks to the tulle which made up the sides of her outfit.
Roxanne later admitted in an interview that she had taken great sacrifices to look amazing that night. Apparently, she had forgone underwear while wearing that dress. “This skirt can’t be worn with underwear,” she explained, before adding: “I (also wore) the skirt before (the event) and practiced walking 97,000 steps at home. I was relieved after trying it that nothing was exposed.”
Roxanne wasn’t the only one who drew eyes to her on the red carpet however. Several others such as actress Sisley Choi (蔡思贝) garnered looks with her low cut dress which gave everyone a generous eyeful of her cleavage. TVB artists Samantha Ko (高海宁) and Crystal Fung (冯盈盈) also dazzled the audience with their pretty sequin dresses.
Well, we certainly have to admit that Roxanne Ho pulled that dress off with much aplomb in spite of the dangers that outfit could have wrought. The payoff had to be worth it, however as her stunning looks became a highlight of the show!
