Concert travel is officially the next big thing in Asia, and Malaysians are getting in on the action. Fans are travelling abroad to see their favourite artists, making travel and live entertainment go hand in hand. Seeing the trend, Trip.com Group has partnered with Live Nation Asia to make concert trips across the region easier.
Through this partnership, Malaysian fans can now plan concert trips to Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea and Mainland China with ease. The collaboration offers presale ticket access, hotel stays, flights and local experiences in one place, marking Trip.com’s first step into live entertainment travel.
Turning Every Show into a Trip Worth Taking

The partnership’s first launch kicks off with none other than K-pop powerhouse TWICE’s tour in Hong Kong. As the Official Travel Partner of the TWICE <THIS IS FOR> WORLD TOUR IN HONG KONG, Trip.com is offering fans exclusive perks like presale ticket access, hotel packages and transport options. It’s turning concert planning into a full travel experience.
More bundles like this will roll out across five Asian markets, featuring both global and regional stars. Fans can pair their concert tickets with attractions like Hong Kong Disneyland, Rainforest Wild ASIA, city tours and more. After sponsoring BLACKPINK’s shows in Bangkok and Hong Kong, Trip.com now offers presale access for their upcoming <DEADLINE> tour in Singapore and Hong Kong.
The Rising Power of Music-Driven Tourism

As live music grows as a reason to travel, Trip.com and Live Nation’s partnership helps fans follow their favourite artists while supporting tourism across Asia. Trip.com’s Momentum survey found that 66% of Malaysian travellers have planned a trip around a concert, 44% are willing to go abroad for shows, and 78% would travel to remote places for cheaper tickets, showing how far fans will go for the music they love.
“Today’s music lovers are embracing immersive experiences that extend far beyond the concert itself,” said Mr Bo Sun, Chief Marketing Officer, Trip.com Group. “Through partnerships like this, we are enhancing the travel journey, adding value for fans and unlocking new cultural and economic value for destinations and the wider industry in Asia. Together, we’re proud to pioneer the future of tourism through entertainment.”
“Concert travel is redefining tourism across Asia,” said Mr James Dick, EVP of Partnerships and Media, Live Nation Asia. “Together with Trip.com, we’re helping fans turn concerts into unforgettable trips that shape the culture of entire cities.”

The partnership creates new opportunities with local hotels, attractions and tourism partners to offer concert packages that encourage more travel across Asia. Fans can visit Trip.com to explore concert bundles, with more packages and tour updates coming soon.
