Let the “teasing” begin! And may the odds be ever in your favour.
Previously, Lionsgate teased their upcoming film “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1” through a series of propaganda posters featuring the district heroes and President Snow’s official Panem address to the Capitol titled, “Unity” and “Together as One”.
After debuting their official teaser trailer of the film at the 2014 San Diego Comic Con (SDCC), the exclusive teaser trailer was uploaded to the film’s official Youtube channel and it gave us a glimpse of what to expect from the sequel of the novel-turned-film.
The teaser trailer features the new characters that will appear on the film including the leader of Rebellion, President Alma Coin, and resident director of the Capitol, Cressida. As seen in the trailer, “Game of Thrones” star Natalie Dormer shaved her head for the role as Cressida while Hannibal star Julianne Moore bleached her hair to portray her role as President Alma Coin.
Peeta Mellark (played by Josh Hutcherson) who has been captured in the previous film did not appear in the teaser trailer despite frequently appearing in President Snow’s official Panem address. On the other hand, the teaser trailer also shows that Katniss was brought to the Rebel Camp and met all the rebels who survived from the Capitol’s peacemaker’s attack.

Slated for release on 21 November this year, “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1” is the third instalment of the “The Hunger Games” franchise and part 2 of the film is currently underway!
