The Latest Drops From Seiko & BAPE Are Giving Us The Feels!

Every timepiece is meant to encapsulate the personality of its wearer – so if you’re discerning, classy and bougie, we’ve found the perfect watches to suit your style and tastes!

From crystalline goodness, to a demure GMT – here are two watch drops you have to be on the lookout for.

Seiko Presage Craftsmanship Urushi GMT SPB447

Seiko has created many timepieces, ranging from simple and minimalist designs, to extravagantly gorgeous creations. But this time around, the Japanese watchmaker group has decided to blend the two design philosophies for those wanting a subtle yet elegant creation.

Rather than starting from scratch, the brand decided to bring its iconic Urushi GMT line into the prestigious Presage Craftsmanship Series. To stay true to the Presage’s iconic design, the new reference is encased in a sleek stainless steel cast that has been doubly reinforced with a super durable coating.

The case itself is slightly over 40mm in diameter, the perfect size so you can see the deep black Urushi lacquer dial crafted using a centuries-old technique typically reserved for expensive furniture and decorations.

This black backdrop sets the stage for the shimmering indices, hour, and minute hands to shine through with their striking white hue. Contrasting with this are the 24-hour scale, central seconds, and GMT hands that have been imbued with a touch of gold. Rounding out the exterior is a smooth, black calf leather strap for that truly premium feel.

Under the hood is Seiko’s in-house 6R54 movement, marking it as the first Presage Craftsmanship timepiece to be equipped with a GMT function.

The Boss Of All Collabs: 2 New Drops From H. Moser & Cie x Pioneer Centre & Unimatic x ERG

The Presage Craftsmanship Urushi GMT SPB447 is available for preorder now through Seiko’s official online boutique for GB£1,590 (~RM8,894).

Type 2 BAPEX Abc Camo Crystal Stone

Aside from delivering killer Japanese street wear to your closet, BAPE has been quite busy behind closed doors, updating its Type 2 BAPEX by introducing a trio of new colour schemes. The silver watch already comes in a multitude of colourful variations, but this time around, the brand seems to have taken a page out of the Powerpuff Girls’ book and is offering the Type 2 BAPEX in a green, blue, and pink colour palette.

These colourways are given the brand’s signature ABC camouflage print, on the dial. This striking colours are paired with a matching jewelled bezel made of Cubic Zirconia; the light-coloured crystals encircle the bottom of the bezels, while a deeper shade arcs over the top.

The Type 2 BAPEX still retains the iconic stainless steel silver bracelet, which provides a clean backdrop for the bright blue, pink, and green versions of the watch.

The Type 2 BAPEX Abc Camo Crystal Stone is available through BAPE’s official stores and website.
