Remember that time when we said that all hope was lost when Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield were reportedly taking a break from their 3-year relationship? Well, we will eat our words now because true love DOES exist.
Months after they separated from each other, Stone and Garfield have reunited as they were spotted leaving a supermarket together with several grocery bags on Saturday (23rd May).
They were last spotted together in early January at the Fox Searchlight dinner for “Birdman” in New York City.
He was noticeably absent from Stone’s side during the awards season, sparking speculation that it was over between the pair. Fortunately, it was later clarified that they have not officially broken up yet as they remained very friendly with each other and were on good terms. It’s just that they haven’t able to spend much time together due to their busy schedules.
This isn’t the first time that they were spotted together since the temporary break as US Weekly said that the pair was already spotted having pancakes and holding hands at Malibu Farm in California earlier that week.
During their break, Stone was spotted carrying a brown bag labelled “Andrew Garfield”. She also greeted Garfield’s parents at a special screening of her new film “Aloha” with Bradley Cooper in London last weekend.
“Emma and Andrew are a great couple who have been apart for work,” a source told People. The source added:
They are still seeing each other. Nothing major happened between them while he was away other than a long and forced separation. Andrew has been incredibly busy and so has Emma. But the sparks are still there.
According to another source, Garfield has been staying at Stone’s L.A. home. He said, “It’s one of those situations where only Andrew and Emma quite know if they’ll pick up where they left off.”
