The Swiss watchmaker is honoring the iconic coastal circuit and the sea of orange fan culture that defines it.

TAG Heuer is gearing up for an emotional, high-octane tribute as Formula 1 prepares to bid farewell to one of its most legendary venues. Celebrating Zandvoort’s final race weekend, the brand has unveiled special orange-accented iterations of its revitalized Formula 1 Solargraph line—Reference WBY111H.FT8128 and Reference WBY111L.BA0042—building on the 38mm platform to inject archive-inspired neon energy into TAG Heuer’s modern solar-powered racing family.

Nestled along the North Sea sand dunes, Circuit Zandvoort boasts a rich, storied heritage that dates back to its inaugural race in 1948. Officially joining the Formula 1 calendar in 1952, the technical, sweeping track quickly earned a reputation as one of Europe’s premier motorsport battlegrounds, hosting legendary duels between icons like Jim Clark, Niki Lauda, and James Hunt. After falling off the calendar following the 1985 season, the circuit underwent a major modernization before making a triumphant comeback in 2021, instantly becoming famous for its steep banked turns and unmatched spectator atmosphere. However, as the sport continues its global expansion, this final running of the Dutch Grand Prix marks the end of an era for the beloved seaside track.

To capture the spirit of this legendary farewell, the new Formula 1 Solargraph limited editions incorporate high-contrast grey and orange details throughout the entire watch design. The 38mm sandblasted stainless steel case measures a sleek 9.9mm thick and is crowned by a bi-directional turning bezel crafted from lightweight, bright orange TH-Polylight. Beneath the flat sapphire crystal sits a textured grey opalin dial featuring a vivid orange-red 60-second outer flange, a date window at three o’clock, and red-lacquered indices filled with eggshell-toned Super-LumiNova. Inside, the watch is powered by the light-driven Calibre TH50-00 Solargraph quartz movement, which recharges under natural or artificial light to offer a full day of operation from just one minute of exposure, backed by a 100-meter water resistance rating.

Watch collectors and racing purists can find the watches via the brand itself. The rubber strap edition, designated as Reference WBY111H.FT8128, pairs the orange bezel with a textured orange racing rubber strap for a track-focused aesthetic, priced at $2,150 USD (MYR 8800) and limited to 1,500 pieces worldwide. Meanwhile, the steel bracelet edition, designated as Reference WBY111L.BA0042, combines the orange bezel with a matching sandblasted three-row stainless steel bracelet for a more classic look, retailing at $2,350 USD (MYR 9600) and limited to 1,000 pieces globally. Fans and horology enthusiasts will get to see these pieces in action one last time on the North Sea coast when the final Dutch Grand Prix takes place across the weekend of August 21 to 23, 2026.
