Nestled along the North Sea sand dunes, Circuit Zandvoort boasts a rich, storied heritage that dates back to its inaugural race in 1948. Officially joining the Formula 1 calendar in 1952, the technical, sweeping track quickly earned a reputation as one of Europe’s premier motorsport battlegrounds, hosting legendary duels between icons like Jim Clark, Niki Lauda, and James Hunt. After falling off the calendar following the 1985 season, the circuit underwent a major modernization before making a triumphant comeback in 2021, instantly becoming famous for its steep banked turns and unmatched spectator atmosphere.
