For many of us, our wedding bells will only ring once in our lifetime. Which is why we often try to make it our perfect day. But sometimes, marriages go wrong and if we’re lucky, we’ll find someone new to spend our lives with. That’s certainly what happened with Gambling King Stanley Ho (何鴻燊)’s granddaughter, Faye Ho (何家华)!
Faye hasn’t had the easiest of lives. From losing her parents at a young age, to divorcing her husband and later being diagnosed with breast cancer, it certainly seems as though tragedies have been swamping her. But, things have been looking up recently and Faye has good news. She’ll be marrying her new beau at the end of the year!
The 47-year-old’s life has changed a lot. After Faye won her fight against cancer, she formed her own bike racing team, FHO Racing. It was through racing that she also met her current boyfriend, Bennetts British Superbike Series race director, Stuart Higgs. The duo started off as friends, but soon became a couple.
After being officially together for three years, Stuart recently proposed. Faye shared that Stuart had “conspired” with her sister and had proposed to her in a simple, but romantic way. Faye was touched and, of course, she agreed.
Both Faye and Stuart have had previous marriages. In fact, Faye’s first wedding had been a grand affair as Gambling King Stanley Ho had only wanted the best for his granddaughter. Unfortunately, it didn’t last and they eventually divorced.
Faye herself wants an ordinary wedding now. “I’d like to have a romantic wedding in a tropical place, like a beach, with only (our) family and best friends. It will not be like the last time (when I got married) with so many people,” she reportedly said.
Well, we offer our heartfelt congratulations to Faye and Stuart! Hopefully they’ll be able to get the dream wedding that they want. In the meantime, we’re sure the couple will be keeping themselves busy for the wedding!
