Last year, Malaysian-born actor Zhang Yaodong (张耀栋) was accused of being a serial cheater and impregnating several women. Although it was reported that the 47-year-old took legal action against those who made the allegations, he never commented publicly on the scandal. However, later that year, the actor did admit to having fathered two daughters with an unnamed woman and even took them on holiday together.
For the past few months, things have appeared to be going well for the Singapore-based star. That was until new allegations emerged recently, suggesting he may have fathered more children with more women than previously claimed. Here’s the story:

According to several reports, a woman who claimed to be Zhang Yaodong’s ex-girlfriend alleged that the actor has five more children with different women across Asia. Besides fathering her toddler, she claimed that he “has a child in Indonesia, two children in Thailand, and one child in the northern Chinese city of Qingdao”.
The anonymous individual posted a now-deleted video on Xiaohongshu, detailing how she met the actor and how their relationship ended. In the original post, it was stated that the two met through a mutual friend and that the celebrity never expressed opposition to having children in his future. However, things took a turn for the worse after she got pregnant.
The ex-girlfriend claimed that Zhang pressured her into having an abortion and promised to care for her if she fulfilled his requests. The woman eventually gave birth to the child, who is now two years old, but unfortunately, throughout her pregnancy, the actor never provided emotional or financial support. He was also absent during the delivery. She has since blocked him after realising that he was not interested in caring for the child.

It was only after the previous allegations surfaced that she finally gathered the courage to share her story. The former lover insisted that she wasn’t exposing the public figure for money, saying she wanted to warn other women not to fall for his tricks. She then urged Zhang to face the consequences of his actions and explain why he abandoned those he had wronged.
Several media outlets have since reached out to Zhang Yaodong and Mediacorp for comment on the latest allegations. At the time of writing, neither the celebrity nor his agency had responded to media inquiries.
