If you’re a fantasy anime fan, you’ve heard of “Solo Leveling (나 혼자만 레벨업/ 俺だけレベルアップな件)”. The critically acclaimed South Korean portal fantasy franchise has captured the hearts of fans worldwide – and soon, they’ll make their mark in Malaysia!
ACO Lab recently dropped several hints for the theme of their next pop-up, which are “Level Up”, “Dungeon awaits…” and “Run 10KM daily to become stronger!”. Also included was a teaser poster with the word “ARISE” on top, which seemed to reference the title of the role-playing game based on the series.
Unsurprisingly, it didn’t take long for fans to figure out that all these hints point to the popular anime “Solo Leveling”. Many have shown excitement over the news and are eager to have more details on the upcoming collaboration. As ACO Lab has previously organised similar anime collaboration pop-ups with “Jujutsu Kaisen” and “Crayon Shin-chan”, many anime fans are excited to see what this new partnership offers.
There isn’t much information about the cafe as of now, but the pop-up will be located at the ACO Lab cafe at Pavilion Bukit Jalil. It will also be similar to the recent “Solo Leveling: ARISE (나 혼자만 레벨업:어라이즈)” collaboration cafe in Seoul, South Korea. As shown in photos, the cafe will include a themed menu and a special exhibition. There will also be exclusive merchandise featuring the game’s main characters.
“Solo Leveling” is a portal fantasy webtoon and anime from South Korea, which follows the adventures of Sung Jinwoo, a hunter who had a brutal encounter in an overpowered dungeon that wiped out his party and threatened to end his life. As the story progresses, Jinwoo takes on stronger enemies, both human and monster, to discover the secrets deep within the dungeons and the ultimate extent of his powers.
