What do you look for in a partner? This question is so commonly asked in our daily lives, we automatically know the answer to it. Sometimes, people will even argue that we have really high standards based off our answers. However, there’s nothing wrong to want a partner that will treat you well.
Not long ago, ATV star Sit Ying Yi (薛影仪), commonly know as Ah Yi (阿仪), shared 5 main characteristics she looks for in a partner during a press conference. She even confidently admitted that she had suitors after she debuted.
Widely known for her ‘poker face’, Ah Yi recently expressed 5 main characteristics her boyfriend must have in order to date her. These 5 characteristics include capable and handsome, gentle and considerate, loyal, long-haired and someone who knows how to buy sunflowers for her. She mentioned that she likes sunflowers because she is not a fan of roses as they are way too common.
During the conference in Hong Kong, the recently turned 39-year-old was also asked whether there are people pursuing her after she entered the industry, which she admittedly said has. “Yes, I do have people pursuing me, not the other way around.” She further explained that she hasn’t come across sincere suitors yet, and didn’t pay them much attention.
On 2nd May 2023, the artist celebrated her 39-year-old birthday. On that special day, she threw a grand party inviting her friends and family. There was even a pretend beauty contest during the party, in which Ah Yi had a fun time. When being asked by the media whether one of her birthday wishes is to find herself a partner, Ah Yi said that she’s not really looking for any right now.
Thankfully, Ah Yi is not worried that her 5 ‘big’ characteristics will create too high of a standard and chase away any guys looking to pursue her. She then revealed that she will be attending a speed dating event on 20th May (520), in which she can choose the ‘right man’ for her from more than 100 single men. She added that the event is just for fun and nothing too serious.
Hopefully she’ll find someone who genuine in wanting to know her rather than someone who is fame-hungry.
