Coldplay fans went to war over the concert ticket sales that were quickly sold out recently. Quite a number lucky fans (including celebs) managed to purchase the concert tickets for themselves, but many others lost to scalpers and ticketing services. But don’t fret as it was recently reported that a second show might happen so stay tuned for that news!
In the meantime, for those who want to attend the show in November, you might still have a chance as a man recently advertised that he’s looking for a date to watch the concert together with him. Here are the details:
Carousell user @wecoolliekdat posted an advertisement on the app’s community page saying that he’s currently in search of a date to go watch Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres” concert in November. According to the ad posted, the man apparently bought CAT 4 couple’s seat tickets but then he realised that he doesn’t have a girlfriend to enjoy the show with. (Yes, that’s a little suss if you ask us.)
“So if you’re a Coldplay fan and want to join me by my side, I’ve created a Google form for you to fill out your details. I’ll text you if you are selected,” he wrote. In the Google form posted was a questionnaire for people to fill out in order to be chosen by the Coldplay fan. Some of the questions included why the candidate should be selected as the perfect date and whether they share any similar interests.
However, there were some questions that were a bit unnecessary, such as the ones asking the date to submit a crazy photo of themselves or listing down the pros and cons of dating them. We’re not entirely sure how this would be appropriate even if the Carousell user wanted to find a potential girlfriend.
At the time of writing, the advertisement on the online shopping app has been taken down. It’s possibly due to the user getting a date, or perhaps he was simply trolling around in the first place.
