Former singer Anita Sarawak has basically disappeared from the Malaysian and Singaporean entertainment industry to live a normal life in the US. The day she finally gave an update about her life, people looked for ways to get in contact with her to find out more, even going as far as asking her siblings. Fortunately for the celeb, her sister has nothing to say.
At this point, it’s basically impossible to try and go look for singer and actress Anita Sarawak to uncover the ‘truth’ of her mysterious life in Las Vegas. The Singaporean-born singer left no traces for anyone to find her which resulted in those who are curious seeking answers from her half-sister, singer Noorkumalasari.
Fondly known as Noor, the 66-year-old has nothing to say about her sister as the two have not been in contact for years since Anita’s disappearance. She revealed that she has no interest in knowing about the “Seksis” singer’s latest updates. “I’m sorry, I don’t have news for you. But no news is also good news,” she told the media. Apparently, her half-sibling has only been in contact with their eldest sister.
According to mStar, the veteran singer actually prefers Anita not contacting her to ask how she’s doing as she believes this way, she won’t have to lie when asked invasive questions about her family member. “Perhaps she just doesn’t want me to be in that kind of situation,” she told mStar. As for the reason why the two half-siblings haven’t been in contact with each other, the “Arjana” star said that it’s because of her close relationship with the media.
The former model also revealed that she has no plans to track down her sister as she believes her presence will not be welcomed due to an unpleasant experience with an entertainment journalist in the past. Nevertheless, she still believes that Anita will contact their eldest sister to convey a message to the rest of the family in the event of an emergency.
To this day, Anita Sarawak and her husband Mahathir remain undetectable from Malaysian media. There is no news that the two will ever return to the spotlight. May they continue to live the life their happy life undisturbed.
