Not all celebrities want to be completely honest when it comes to personal experiences with romantic relationships. Some chose to stay quiet while others have shared cryptic messages on social media or even released songs or poetry to express their emotions.
Singer Daiyan Trisha is obviously a gifted songwriter so it’s no surprise that she’d be just as amazing in writing poetry as well but her latest work has gotten fans wondering if she’s talking about a specific person, possibly another celeb, who has broken her heart.

Earlier this week, Daiyan Trisha posted a series of photos of poems on her TikTok channel to promote her new book “Tulisan by Daiyan Trisha” which is a collection of poems written by her in both English and Malay. At first glance, nothing looked too out of the ordinary about the post but after reading each line, especially the second poem titled “Cheat”, fans have been speculating about who the 29-year-old might be referring to.
The first poem the singer shared talks about how her love is genuine and sincere while the second poem consisted of lines like, “She never bothered me, What bothered me was the way your eyes gaze hers intensely,” and “You choose to share your intimacy which was supposed to be for only me.” The last poem in Malay had a line that reads, “The one who I thought was mine is now with another”.

These previews of her written work have led some to believe that the songwriter may be talking about actor Aedy Ashraf whom she had a very close relationship in the past. For your information, Daiyan previously denied being in a romantic relationship with Aedy, claiming that they were just close friends. The actor is now in a rumoured relationship with actress Amelia Henderson whom he has yet to confirm their relationship status.
At the time of writing, Daiyan has not commented on fans’ speculations on who was the inspiration behind some of her poems. Guess we’d just have to let the art speak for itself.
Update (2nd September)
