Scent As a Pathway to Presence
Created by fine perfumer Florian Gallow, ZEN ESSENCE takes inspiration from the peaceful atmosphere of a Japanese garden, where soft light, flowers and nature come together in stillness. The fragrance is designed as a mindful experience that connects with all five senses.
The scent opens with bergamot and luminous jasmine, bringing a fresh brightness from the first spray. At its heart, velvety iris meets a modern mineral must accord, before settling into comforting vanilla and cedarwood for a warm and lasting finish.
According to SHISEIDO, 83% of 107 people who sampled ZEN ESSENCE said the fragrance gave them a feeling of harmony and balance.
Designed For Calm
That sense of calm also carries into the bottle. Its soft curves and slightly uneven shape take inspiration from the iconic SHISEIDO “S”, giving the bottle a feminine and sculptural look that feels modern without trying too hard. The fragrance can be seen through clear glass, while a solid wooden cap brings a natural touch to the design.
ZEN ESSENCE also takes a more thoughtful approach to its materials with a vegan formula, recyclable glass bottle and FSC-certified plastic-free cap.
