SHISEIDO ULTIMUNE Teams up with VERDY & LISA for a Skincare Campaign Where Beauty Meets Art

SHISEIDO is launching their ULTIMUNE collection with a global collaboration that pairs its bestselling ULTMUNE skincare line with celebrated Japanese graphic artist VERDY– Blackpink’s LISA returns as the face of the campaign. 

 The fall/winter 2026 campaign marks one of SHISEIDO’s boldest creative partnerships yet, bringing together artistry, cutting-edge skincare and contemporary pop culture in a campaign designed to celebrate confidence from the inside out.

Rather than simply leading his signature illustration to the brand, VERDY reimagines the world of ULTIMUNE through his visual language. Best known for projects like “Girls Don’t Cry”, “Wasted Youth”, and his beloved original characters, the Osaka-born artist has built an international following by blending playful aesthetics with messages of individuality and resilience. 

That philosophy naturally aligns with SHISEIDO’s long-standing belief in the skin’s innate power and its “Freedom from Age” approach to beauty. Together, both brands champion authenticity, self-expression and confidence, making the collaboration feel like a shared creative vision. 

At the heart of the campaign is VICK, VERDY’s iconic panda-rabbit character, who steps into the ULTIMUNE universe for the very first time. Alongside VICK, VERDY introduces entirely new artwork inspired by ULTIMUNE’s signature camellia flower, as well as an original illustrated female character created exclusively for the campaign.

The new visuals bring warmth and optimism to the campaign, capturing everyday moments that encourage women to embrace their own journey with confidence, leaning into illustration and storytelling to create an emotional connection beyond skincare. 

Returning as global ambassador, LISA once again brings international star power to ULTIMUNE. Having fronted previous campaigns for the Japanese beauty house, the global icon continues to embody the brand’s modern vision of strength, confidence and timeless beauty. Her presence, combined with VERDY’s unmistakable creative identity, gives the campaign a distinctly global appeal while remaining rooted in Japanese artistry. 

Fans can also expect exclusive limited edition Gifts with Purchase during the campaign period, featuring VERDY’s original artwork across specially designed collectibles available with qualifying ULTIMUNE purchases. The collaboration extends beyond advertising, allowing customers to take home a piece of the artist’s work alongside their skincare routine. 

For VERDY, the project also represents an exciting creative milestone.

Having never collaborated with cosmetics brands before, the artist described the partnership as an opportunity to step into completely new territory while staying true to his distinctive style. Inspired by his personal motto, “RISE ABOVE,” VERDY hopes that the collaboration leaves people with the same excitement he felt while creating it. 

Since launching in 2014, SHISEIDO ULTIMUNE has become one of the Japanese beauty giant’s signature skincare innovations. The serum entered a new chapter in 2025 with the introduction of the next-generation ULTIMUNE Power Infusing Serum, continuing its reputation for strengthening skin while enhancing its natural beauty. 

Today, the franchise has earned more than 330 beauty awards worldwide and remains one of SHISEIDO’s most recognised skincare collections, loved across ages, skin types and genders.

Those looking to experience the serum behind the campaign won’t have to wait. The SHISEIDO ULTIMUNE Power Infusing Serum is available at SHISEIDO boutiques and counters nationwide, selected Sephora stores, and online via the SHISEIDO Official Online Store, Shopee, Lazada and Sephora.

The serum is priced at RM350 (30ml), RM510 (50ml) and RM650 (75ml).

With LISA’s global influence, VERDY’s instantly recognisable artwork and SHISEIDO’s heritage of skincare innovation, the Fall/Winter 2026 campaign feels like more than another celebrity collaboration. It is a celebration of Japanese creativity on a global stage, proving that beauty can be as much about self-expression as it is about skincare.
