Recently, singer Shila Amzah alleged that she was assaulted by a veteran artist. After identifying the individual involved, she urged fans not to drag a particular actress into the issue, clarifying that the actress had no connection to the incident. Here’s the full story:
Shila Amzah revealed that she was recently assaulted by a veteran singer during a rehearsal session for a concert. Following the incident, she lodged a police report at the Dang Wangi police headquarters on 10th July. The investigation is currently ongoing, with several witnesses having been called in to provide statements.
The songstress claimed that the attack stemmed from something she had posted on social media. Since then, speculation has swirled over the identity of the perpetrator, with some accusing Datuk Awie, who was part of the concert lineup. However, the mother-of-two later clarified that it was Datuk Amy Search, who also happens to be actress Nabila Huda’s father.
Fans have since flooded the actress’s social media accounts, urging her to speak out about the situation involving her father. Upon learning of this, Shila Amzah once again stepped forward to defend the 40-year-old star, stressing that she had nothing to do with the incident.
“I’ve said my piece. Please do not associate [Nabila] with this matter. Another thing — please find the cause of this issue. He was not alone. In the 17 years I’ve known his name, he’s never acted this way,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories. Meanwhile, Nabila Huda has not directly addressed the incident but posted a cryptic monologue on her Instagram.
In the video, the actress appeared to defend her father, saying that he had always been kind, calm and humble, but everything changed when a woman with the title of “Datin” came into the picture. “Look at what you’ve done. Now he has to bear the consequences of your actions,” she said in the clip. According to the captions, Nabila was apparently rehearsing lines for her next project, but the timing of the post could say otherwise. Was it really scripted, or was she indirectly addressing those words to a certain individual?
