After months of waiting, the last member of popular Taiwanese girl group SHE, Selina Jen (任家萱)’s bundle of joy is finally here. That’s right, the much-loved artist has just given birth to her firstborn child!
Earlier this year, Selina Jen and her boyfriend were delighted to announce that Selina was expecting. Well, nine months later, the singer is proud to reveal her baby boy to the world. Despite there being some scares during the birth, the new mother is overjoyed to have her baby with her in her arms.
On 7th September, Selina took to her socials to share her good news with the world. “Baby Cashew is here!” she wrote. “Thank you for allowing (your) mom to “gracefully give birth” as wished.” However, it seems his delivery wasn’t as uneventful as hoped.
“You freaked (me) out at first with the fluid in your lungs!” the “Super Star” songstress admitted. Apparently, Baby Cashew had been living in an incubator for a few days before it was finally safe for him to remove the tube. And once he was reunited with his mom, the 41-year-old got the opportunity to marvel at her little baby.
She praised his tiny hands, pointing out the pinpricks and bruises on his little body, calling them his “brave feats”. The couple is so in love with Baby Cashew that they didn’t even mind that he had a little accident on his dad. “As long as you are healthy, everything is fine,” Selina said. “Dear Baby Cashew, welcome! Let’s do this together, (let’s) write a story full of love and courage.”
Friends and followers have since left congratulatory messages on her love letter to her baby, with many joining in welcoming Baby Cashew to the world. Congrats to both Selina Jen and her boyfriend! We wish them and Baby Cashew well and hope they will live happy and healthy lives.
