Following their groupmates DK (도겸) and Vernon (버논), SEVENTEEN (세븐틴) members Mingyu (민규), Seungkwan (승관) and Dino (디노) have announced their military enlistment dates. With their conscription, the idols are the final three members of the group to enlist.
Earlier today (Monday, 10th August 2026), SEVENTEEN’s agency, PLEDIS, released a statement regarding Mingyu, Seungkwan and Dino’s military enlistment. According to the statement, Mingyu will begin his alternative military service on 10th September 2026 (Thursday), while Seungkwan and Dino will enlist as members of the Republic of Korea Army Band on 26th October 2026 (Monday).
In the statement, PLEDIS has assured fans that the three members will participate in all official activities before their enlistment. For Seungkwan and Dino, this includes their appearance at Sunway Pyramid on 28th August 2026 (Friday) for the Skechers store grand opening and meet-and-greet. The two will appear at the event with their groupmate and fellow Skechers Regional Brand Ambassador, DK.
As the idols prepare for their upcoming enlistment, the company has requested fans to refrain from visiting the enlistment ceremony and Mingyu’s place of service out of respect for the other enlistees and the public. Understandably, once Mingyu, Seungkwan and Dino begin their military service, they will be absent from SEVENTEEN’s group activities. However, they have prepared a variety of content in advance for their fans during their military hiatus.
With their enlistment, Mingyu, Seungkwan and Dino are the last members of SEVENTEEN to fulfil their mandatory military service. Back in July, DK and Vernon announced their enlistment dates, confirming their conscription for 8th September 2026 (Tuesday) and 20th August 2026 (Thursday) respectively. The group also has three members, Wonwoo (원우), Hoshi (호시) and Woozi (우지), who are currently fulfilling their service.
CARATs (SEVENTEEN fans) have reacted to the announcement, wishing Mingyu, Seungkwan and Dino a safe enlistment. In case you’re wondering, the three members will conclude their military service in 2028. Seungkwan and Dino will complete their service in April, while Mingyu will complete his in June. With this, SEVENTEEN will only reunite as a full group in June 2028, shortly after their 13th anniversary.
