#SDCC2017: Hulk Attempts To Talk In The New “Thor: Ragnarok” Trailer

“But Hulk raging fire, Thor like smoldering fire.”

Wait, is that Hulk talking in the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) exclusive “Thor: Ragnarok” trailer? Surprise, surprise. Marvel definitely came out to play this weekend at the annual SDCC, first when they unveiled a good look at Thanos in “Avengers: Infinity War”, and then dropping new footage for “Thor: Ragnarok”.

Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, “Thor: Ragnarok” is intended to be the sequel to 2011’s “Thor” and 2013’s “Thor: The Dark World”, and the 17th film installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

In “Thor: Ragnarok”, after the events of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and 4 years after the events of  “Thor: The Dark World”, Thor is held captive on planet Sakaar, the other side of the universe, without his mighty hammer. and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok – the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization – at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. In order to return to Asgard in time, he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger, the Incredible Hulk.

If the new SDCC trailer is anything to go by, fans are definitely in for a ride as their favourite superheroes go on an intergalactic journey to kick butt.

Directed by Taika Waititi, “Thor: Ragnarok” stars Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Cate Blanchett (Hela), Idris Elba (Heimdall), Jeff Goldblum (Grandmaster), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), Karl Urban (Skurge), Anthony Hopkins (Odin), Sam Neill, Ray Stevenson (Volstagg), Tadanobu Asano (Hogun), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/Hulk), and Benedict Cumberbatch (Dr. Stephen Strange).

“Thor: Ragnarok” is slated to be released on 3rd November 2017.
