Many celebrities keep their family members’ identities a secret as a show of respect for their privacy. One of those stars is Hong Kong singer Sammi Cheng Sau Man (鄭秀文). However, her sisters recently made an appearance at her concert, sparking interest among fans.
Earlier this week, Sammi concluded her three-day appreciation concert at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium. The pop diva was scheduled to hold her “You&Mi Asia Tour” finale show. Unfortunately, the original programme had to be postponed due to a stage malfunction. As such, the singer decided to hold an appreciation concert to show her gratitude to her fans. Despite the scaled-down event, the show was a success, drawing a large crowd to the stadium.
The crowd also included some of Sammi’s famous friends, including actor Dayo Wong, who starred alongside the singer in the movie “Night King”. However, fans quipped that there were more special guests hidden in the audience, namely Sammi’s two older sisters. Fans at the concert spotted the two on the final night and shared photos of the pair on social media, sparking tons of attention.

While the singer boasts a close relationship with her family, she covers their faces when sharing photos of them on social media to protect their privacy. Despite that, fans were still able to recognise her sisters at the concert because, unsurprisingly, Sammi’s sisters looked strikingly similar to her.
For the concert, one of the sisters wore a white short-sleeved shirt with a grey long skirt, adorned with simple jewellery, while the other wore a blue floral top. However, what netizens noticed most were their facial features, specifically the first older sister’s. Many noted that her face shape and smile were identical to Sammi’s. Fans who met the two sisters also said they were both very approachable despite exuding an elegant and poised air.
Netizens said their well-mannered behaviour and elegant demeanour were a clear indication that they came from a good family. Additionally, some said their rare appearance at Sammi’s concert to support their sister showcased the family’s close bond.
