A few months back, Her Royal Highness Tunku Azizah spilled the details about her children getting married soon with the exception of her youngest daughter. Although Pahang Prince Tengku Hassanal denied his mother’s claims about his supposed marriage, his sister Tengku Afzan’s wedding has been confirmed and it’s happening this week.
It was recently announced by event organiser Teja Market on TikTok that the Pahang Princess will soon tie the knot to her sweetheart businessman FD Idzham, who is the eldest child of Datuk Seri Fateh Iskandar Mohamed Mansor and Datin Seri Hafizah Zakarialater, later this August at Tasek Kotasas, Kuantan, Pahang. According to the poster above, the wedding will be held for a total of 4 days from 22nd August (Thursday) – 25th August (Sunday). Although the Pahang Sultanate did not make any official announcement regarding the Royal wedding on their official social media pages, as reported by Kosmo, the news has been confirmed by the former Queen of Malaysia, Tunku Azizah herself.
In a separate announcement made by Pasar Sera over the weekend, the wedding will be live-streamed and screened at Padang MBK 1 (Padang Masjid Negeri) for all citizens of Pahang to witness. Apart from celebrating the Royal event, visitors will also get to enjoy a fabulous picnic and go shopping around the area while watching the ceremony live on the big screen.
Unlike the announcement for the Brunei Royal wedding that took place earlier this year, so far, the full details for Tengku Afzan and future husband FD Idzham’s reception have yet to be disclosed. It is unknown if the official guest list will be made public but we can assume that the 4-day ceremony will be attended by other important public figures; politicians and royal families.
