Robin Thicke, 40, and April Love Geary, 22, are expecting their a baby girl!
Thicke’s baby mama took to Instagram this morning (Friday, 18th August) to share the happy announcement via her sonogram photo. The beautiful model is reportedly 3 months pregnant.
“Robin and I are very excited to share with you all that we’re having a baby! The due date is 1st March, Alan’s birthday!” Geary captioned the image. Alan, of course, is the R&B crooner’s late father who passed away in December last year at 69 due to a ruptured aorta. 1st March would have been Alan’s 70th birthday.
In case you didn’t know, Thicke and Geary have been dating for more than 2 years, shortly after the singer and his wife Paula Patton filed for divorce in October 2014. Since the separation, the former flames have been involved in an on-and-off custody battle over their 7-year-old son, Julian.
Thicke and Geary made their first public appearance at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2015. To them, age is just a number. The expecting mum previously addressed their 18-year age gap, saying, “We’re out here LIVING while most of y’all are still bothered by an age gap“.
When asked about the age difference, Alan’s wife Tanya chimed in, “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree… She’s a very mature young lady. A very beautiful, smart, mature young lady.” The expecting parents often exchange sweet messages to each other on social media.
