Restaurant In PJ Admits To Adding ‘Special Ingredients’ To Teach Rude Customers A Lesson

A Twitter user, @Cikgu_Anep, is coming forth with an exposé about a famous Western food restaurant located in Petaling Jaya. In his post, Anep revealed that the restaurant received an “unfavourable” review from an influencer, much to the chagrin of its owner, known as Tom.

Anep also mentioned that the “special ingredient” he added in another influencer’s meal, was his “checkmate” move. The owner wrote on the restaurant’s official Facebook, “Only those who work in hotels know what ‘special ingredient’ I was referring to hahaha 😅.”

As revealed by FB user Mira Hana, the so-called “special ingredients” actually referred to unsavoury substances intentionally added by the cooks to their dishes. “The term ‘special ingredient’ in the context of hotel staff refers to food that has been spat on or coughed on. Many restaurants practice it, and if they encounter a troublesome customer, their food may be tainted with saliva, nasal secretions, toenail clippings, and/or earwax. ‘Special customers’ here refer to demanding patrons. The ‘special ingredients’ are used to teach them a lesson,” she explained.

Many netizens were appalled by Mira’s revelation. “That’s gross! Did he deliberately want to show the public how disgusting he is? They will never come to his eatery after this,” said one netizen. Some also urged the authorities to take appropriate action against the owner.

In addition, there were also others who shared their unpleasant experience while having their meal at the restaurant. To quote one commentator, “This restaurant has always been like this. They can’t handle criticism. Whenever someone politely points something out, they immediately attack them. They delete comments and block people, then claim that others are envious of them.”

That being said, the official Facebook page of the restaurant in question is still actively posting online. For those who are curious, check out the restaurant here.
