Girl’s Day maknae Lee Hyeri (이혜리) and actor Ryu Jun Yeo (류준열) are dating!
According to popular South Korean media outlet Dispacth, the couple reportedly started dating last year and was spotted on a date in March. Hyeri was also recently seen going to her boyfriend’s apartment.
Ryu’s label, C-JeS Entertainment, confirmed the news through a press statement. The company said, “Ryu Jun Yeol and Hyeri recently developed their close friendship into a romantic relationship. We’re sorry to let fans suddenly know about this dating news.”
The couple met on the set of tvN’s widely-popular drama series “Reply 1988”, which aired In the drama, their characters – Jeong Hwan (played by Ryu) and Deok Sun (played by Hyeri) – were involved in a love triangle with Park Bo Geum’s Choi Taek.
30-year-old Ryu debuted in 2015 through the movie “Socialphobia” and starred in “The King” (2017), which won him the Best New Actor award in film at the Baeksang Arts Awards. Meanwhile, 23-year-old Hyeri, who recently received “Female Commercial Film Star Award” at MTN Broadcast Advertising Awards Festival, is currently filming a new historical movie, titled “Monster”.
