Most of us are currently stuck at home thanks to the pandemic. However, it isn’t always the most relaxing place to be. For some people, going to a bar and getting a nice cold beer helps them relax.

While you may not be able to physically visit a bar any time soon, you can enjoy a refreshing drink at home with Heineken’s new wheat beer Edelweiss! It can now be purchased across Peninsular Malaysia.

Edelweiss was born in the Alps and is made with all-natural mountain ingredients. According to the Marketing Director at Heineken Malaysia Berhad (HEINEKEN Malaysia) Pablo Chabot, the drink has a distinctive golden cloudiness and a subtle yet delicious fruity aftertaste. “But it is about more than just great taste,” Chabot added. “It has this crisp, cool bite that leaves the drinker feeling refreshed.”

The drink was created to model life on the Alps; from the feeling of walking through lush mountain valleys to the smooth, cool sensation of freshly fallen snow. “We also want to bring people a wheat beer with the freshness of the Alps in every sip, even while they are staying home,” Chabot said. Edelweiss is one of Europe’s best-loved wheat beers, which can now be savoured by Malaysians.
